Lucy Baldwin - Works on Maternal Imprisonment

Lucy Baldwin is a Senior lecturer in Criminology based in the Community & Criminal Justice Division, located within the Health and Life Sciences faculty of De Montfort University.

Prior to entering the world of Academia full time   in 2004 Lucy had worked as both a Social Worker and a Probation Officer  across a broad range of social and criminal justice settings. (In both custodial and community based environments).  She recently convened the 'Women, Families, Crime & Justice Research Network' - which hopes to bring together academics, practitioners, service users and service providers. The network aims to influence and effect positive change via research and practice, for women and families affected by social and criminal justice systems.
