AFFECT is an organization which supports families and friends of offenders who are potentially facing a long or life sentence of imprisonment. A great deal of those at AFFECT have experienced the imprisonment of a close relative or friend. AFFECT provide face to face or telephone counselling, telephone support, group meetings, befriending, court support, training and presentations. A range of support services are delivered in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, West Sussex and Dorset areas. Additionally, AFFECT support families and friends nationally via a telephone service.
