Launch of new NICCO web site

NICCO is the updated version of the well-established Barnardo's i-HOP knowledge hub.

Welcome to the National Information Centre on Children of Offenders (NICCO).

NICCO is the updated version of the well-established Barnardo's i-HOP knowledge hub. The new-look site continues to provide details of all the resources, services and quality assessed research that were previously listed on i-HOP in 3 distinct directories: the Directory of Services, Directory of Resources and Directory of Research.

The new NICCO site now also provides you with:

·     Improved functionality

·     An interactive map feature that allows you to search for prison based family  services

·     A new name  that ‘does what it says on the tin’ (rather than mistakes us for the International House of Pancakes!)

As well as remaining the only national repository of services, resources and quality assured research to inform practice with offenders’ families, the enhanced search function allows the site to become a platform for prisons to identify what they provide and who provides it, supporting improved working between prison and community based services.

Make sure you subscribe to NICCO today to receive your free regular updates.

If you are already a member of i-HOP you will need to contact us to confirm that you would like to continue to receive updates.
